ACAS has regularly funded their projects from 2003, and so far we have collaborated in seven of them, that range from the building of this equipment, toilets (thus achieving healthier conditions), research and the training of personnel in order to take this biomass energy technology to those areas with less favourable weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>In 2005 we started funding projects from other organisations as well, and during the first decade we collaborated in 29 of them, donating over 180.000\u20ac in total.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the list of all of them, excluding the seven for \u201cDeveloping Technologies\u201d, which we have already mentioned above:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7032\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7032\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/incubadora-Lacom-2006.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7032 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.usca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/incubadora-Lacom-2006-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"Incubadora para un hospital de Sucre (Bolivia). Financiado por ACAS\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.usca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/incubadora-Lacom-2006-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.usca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/incubadora-Lacom-2006.jpg 417w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7032\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lacom in\u00a0hospital of\u00a0Sucre (Bolivia)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cCrecer con Futuro\u201d (Grow with a Future) In Encarnaci\u00f3n, <strong>Paraguay<\/strong>, a project to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of a dumping site.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLacom\u201d (Committed Laypeople) In Sucre, <strong>Bolivia<\/strong>, two projects to supply the equipment for a welding and metal workshop, and to buy an incubator for a local hospital<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAldeas Infantiles\u201d (Children Villages) In <strong>Tenerife<\/strong>, a project to buy a washing machine<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSED\u201d (Solidarity, Education and Development) In Chibuluma, <strong>Zambia<\/strong>, the purchase of equipment for a science lab in a secondary school<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cCirujanos del Mundo\u201d (Surgeons Worldwide) In <strong>Uganda<\/strong>, we bought surgical material, and in a second project we paid for the expenses of the transfer of a patient to a hospital in Lugo for an operation. We have funded over the last six years projects focused on eye surgery and treatments against blindness.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cComunidad Misionera San Pablo Ap\u00f3stol\u201d (San Pablo Apostle Missionaries) In Sabana Yegua, <strong>Dominican Republic<\/strong>.
